• Played a key role in building our Club from the early years into a community Club with the WPH Sports Club (Netball, Soccer, Little A’s).

Passed away – 26th April 2007.

Les Methven (#2)

• Founding father of our Club
• Played between 1946/47 & 1956/57(A1 to C2 Grades) – 2,877 runs & 56 wickets
• Played a key role in forming our 1^st Seniors Team in 1946.

Charles Booth (#3)

Inducted 1960’s

• Founding player between 1946/47 & 1952/53 (A1 to C1 Grades) – 1,150 runs & 57 wickets
• Vice President 1966/67 to unknown
• Coached Junior Teams in the startup days of Juniors
• Died in 1969 during the cricket season while coaching the U13s. Set standards of sportsmanship & shared participation that forms the basis of our ‘Participation over Results’ policy
• The Charles Booth Memorial Trophy’ named after Charles in 1969/70 for high standards on citizenship. It is our longest standing Perpetual Trophy.

William Allum (#4)

John Coulthard (#17)

• Coached Junior Teams for approx. 6 years without a child participating;
• Captained Seniors Teams (1983/84 to 1993/94 and actively promoted the involvement of young players and transition of players from Juniors to Seniors;

• In 1992/92 had the Junior Player of the Year Trophy named after him for long term service to promoting young players;

• In 2018/19 to current, Rob was elected as the Association Junior Secretary, despite his son, Aden, finishing his Junior cricket involvement – the 1^st Junior Secretary in our history. His achievements have been significant: negotiated the CA Pathways initiative with CNSW; actively involved Clubs in all decisions affecting the Junior Competition; provided outstanding leadership through Covid-19 with a seamless competition during the challenging period; integrated Girls and Boys competitions into a single entity.
